Soccer Conditioning

Traditional conditioning programs are performed without a soccer ball to improve strength and speed (power). Although power is important to the game of soccer it serves no purpose if ball possession is lost due to improper technique.

The program I have designed incorporates exercises with and without the ball, improving both technique and fitness. This result in a greater transferability of skill to the game itself.

Total Soccer Conditioning
Do you get tired quickly during a soccer game, sometimes even before water break? Has running endless laps around a track yield little results?

This program incorporates training all facets of fitness based on scientific foundations. Players will train both aerobic and anaerobic metabolic systems based on individualized training programs.

Players will be tested at the beginning and end of the training program. Workouts will be design to meet the specific needs of each player

Speed, Agility and Reaction
Learn proper running technique, develop leg strength via plyometrics exercises (low intensity) , understand the concept of deceleration and change of direction. Become proficient at running with a ball, with proper change of direction.

Players will learn to control a ball at high speeds, move and transport a ball at high speeds and become mobile and agile in the field.

Technical Clinic

Focuses on improving ball control on the following areas:

  • Juggling
  • Dribbling
  • Passing
